What's your motivation?

Remember why Kermit left the comfort and security of the swamp?  Not for riches or fame, but for the chance to make millions of people happy.

So I am attempting to earn a college degree (a little late, not too late, but a little late) and I want a career-- but what's my motivation to leave the swamp?  I too would love the opportunity to make millions of people happy... but I don't think that's within the realm of possibility for me.

What are some things that one person could do to spread joy in such a short life as ours?

What do you need?

Welcome to my head.

Sometimes when you're in the grocery store or the bus station or any public place, you hear conversations and snip-its...  Things that don't make sense.  The other day in the grocery store I heard a man ask (I'm assuming) his wife:  "Do we need corndogs?"

What does it mean to "need" corndogs?  Who really needs a corndog?  I can understand maybe (at least theoretically) the want of a corndog-- a desire for but not a need... We need water... we need bread... Fraggles, well, they need radishes or would they risk their little felt hides?  No.  But a corndog?  How could you ever NEED a corndog?

If you have an answer, let me know.
